Inclusive excellence through partnership and practice

At Discovery Trust, we believe every pupil deserves the opportunity to thrive, academically, socially, and emotionally. To support this mission, we offer access to In-Tact.

What is In-TACT?

In-TACT is our multidisciplinary service which stands for Inclusion, Therapies, Assessment, Consultation & Training and has been designed to provide holistic support across Discovery schools and Partnership schools who have entered into an agreement with Discovery with view to onboarding at a future date with our Trust. Led by the Principal Educational Psychologist, Dr. Paula Hopkins, In-TACT brings together expertise in psychology and counselling and will develop quickly to include speech and language therapy (SALT), Occupational Therapy, Play Therapy and Music Therapy.

About Us

The Centre for Inclusive Practice exists to bring people, knowledge and purpose together so that every child, in every school, feels they belong and can thrive. Working in partnership with schools across Discovery Trust and beyond, the Centre is built on a simple belief: that inclusion is most powerful when it is designed into every experience, rather than added in response to need.

Rooted in our shared values of belonging, equity & ambition, the Centre creates space for collaboration, reflection and growth. It connects the expertise of specialist and mainstream settings, and aims to support educators to strengthen inclusive practice, and helps schools to confidently remove barriers before they arise. Through professional learning, outreach and multidisciplinary support, we work alongside colleagues learning together and building a culture where every pupil is seen, heard and supported to succeed.

More than a service, the Centre is a growing community open to schools, trusts and partners who share a commitment to inclusive education. Together, we are shaping an education system where every pupil experiences a strong sense of belonging, participates fully, and achieves their personal best within an equitable and compassionate environment.
