We can carry out a thorough health check of your system(s), ensuring they are updated, secure and running smoothly. Afterwards you’ll be presented with a thorough report highlighting and weknesses or areas for improvement.
Desktops/Laptops
We’ll make a note of how long it takes to start up, log on and perform basic functions. We’ll then carry out any remedial actions and get it performing at its maximum level for you.
These actions could consist of any of the following:
- Virus removal.
- Removal of unnecessary software.
- Stop processes that run in the background but aren’t required.
- Identify any faulty hardware.
- Installation of any important software and security updates.
What Does It Cost?
We are proud of the reputation of our ‘Faster for Forty’ health check, which means our core service remains just £40. The details of our costs are below:
Option 1 (£40)
- Our most popular service.
- An engineer collects your computer from your home or workplace.
- We deliver your computer back to you within 48 working hours.
- We will walk you through any changes that have been made.
- You will be issued with a health check report.
- This price is valid within 5 miles of Melton Mowbray town centre. Add £1 per mile if you are further away than that.
Option 2 (£70)
- An engineer visits your home or business and carries out the health check on site.
- We will walk you through what we have done before we leave.
- Your health check report is emailed to you within 48 working hours.
- This price is valid within 5 miles of Melton Mowbray town centre. Add £1 per mile if you are further away than that.
What Do I Get for My Money?
- Any unnecessary software that may be slowing things down will be removed.
- A full check of your anti virus software. Is it up to date and is it working?
- Any important security updates will be installed.
- System logs will be checked for errors and resolved where necessary.
- Suggested hardware upgrades will be noted for you.
- Finally you will be issued with a report showing the hardware spec of your computer (how much memory, hard drive, processor etc) and detailing how much the speed has improved.
We do not rely on the sale of new computers, so we never suggest anything that we don’t believe is necessary. We are not in the business of selling you things you don’t need.
